Project Brief

She’s the Sauce required a two-phase launch: a “coming soon” landing page during product development, followed by a fully branded Shopify store targeting high-protein shoppers (launching summer 2025).

‍Obstacles

Without any product imagery, we needed to capture emails and build anticipation without full creative assets. The coming-soon theme also had to transition smoothly into the main store without causing too much downtime or errors.

Approach

We launched the coming-soon page first to gain hype and capture email signups, then gradually layered in branded styles and custom Shopify modules so the live URL and theme could evolve in place. Playful micro-animations, like a custom cart-fill animation and hover effects were included to add some character to the site. Throughout, I managed backend setup and QA-tested each change to keep the site error-free.

Results

The coming-soon page generated over 850 email sign-ups, and post-launch word-of-mouth led multiple CPG founders to request similar builds. The site is earning praise for both its polished design and reliable performance. More updates to come!
